I’m very pleased to share a lovely festive finish today — Welcome Christmas by The Drawn Thread.
This was started on 15 August 2021 and finished on 21 October 2022, making it a beautiful Christmas project to complete in time for the festive season.
I stitched this using the called-for Dinky Dyes threads on 28 count Brittney Lugana from Polstitches, in the colourway Pearl. I really enjoyed the traditional feel of this design, with the pretty lettering, little motifs, and soft festive colours. It has such a lovely classic Christmas look, especially once framed.

This was such a lovely piece to stitch and finish. I really like how the long framed layout works with the design, and the colours give it a warm, traditional Christmas feel without being too bright.
