Winter by The Cricket Collection. - Teresa Little Stitcher

Winter by The Cricket Collection.

I’m very pleased to share a beautiful winter finish today — Winter by The Cricket Collection.

This was started on 11 January 2021, finished on 26 August 2022, and then fully finished as a flatfold on 28 August 2022.

I stitched this using the called-for DMC threads, with the exception of the white in the snowman, where I used DMC white Floche thread. It was stitched on Chromatic Alchemy fabric in the colourway Tempest — a 28 count evenweave Lugana — using 2 strands over 2.

I really love the soft wintery feel of this design, with the pretty lettering, snowy details, and little seasonal motifs. The fabric works beautifully with the design and gives it such a frosty, atmospheric background.
