Did your weekend turn out how you planned it?

Picture the scene…… after a long and busy week working, with long hours of cold and tired commuting, at last that Friday evening feeling of blissful peace and quiet and PJ weekend has arrived.

That is how it started… Alas it was not to last!

The weekend turned into one of those

I thought I didn’t have much I needed to do!

but I was so wrong lol!

Then at last a glimmer of hope is there on my Saturday evening and sit myself down in front of my poor neglected HAED Alternative Reality by Josephine Wall for some much needed love. But ones eyes struggled, so thought I needed something a little easier for the eyes on my Saturday night so turned to another neglected piece my Twisted Band Sampler by Northern Expressions using some lovely silk threads – what a treat!

My treat ended abruptly with a serious thread shortage of two colours – it was all going so well ?.

Needless to say my progress was not as pleasing as I would have liked, but I did manage something, just felt a little deflated after all that.

Well, I had a lovely weekend, and weekdays too. You see, I am retired and I can stitch whenever I want. I love it! I love your stitching, especially your band sampler. Gorgeous. Hope you were able to get your floss and you will be able to stitch this weekend. I enjoy your videos and your blog. Love and peace.
